Now we’ve heard everything — a new Japanese smart-toilet that flushes remotely via Bluetooth.
Did you flush? Did you put the seat down?
These questions will never nag you again when Lixil’s Satis commode, a Bluetooth-controlled toilet and accompanying app, hits the market in February.
This Japanese high-tech toilet ($4,500), with heater and built-in speakers, can be paired with an Android smartphone app that will let you lift and close lids, flush, and stream your favorite songs.
And for folks who are fastidious about their toilet habits, the app also has a “toilet diary” to keep track of bathroom habits and earn Japanese symbols for meeting toilet goals, a helpful potty training tool.
For now, the app only can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. Sadly, iPhone users will have to flush the old-fashioned way.
